WELCOME TO SEATON ST PAUL'S JUNIOR SCHOOL!
Welcome to our school website! I hope it reflects our vibrant junior school.
Please take some time to look at the photographs to get an idea of the wealth of fun, creative and memorable experiences that we offer the children.
We are highly aspirational in all that we do and children are challenged to put maximum effort into school life. Our school strapline is:
'We Believe, We Achieve, We Succeed!'
The children are very proud of their school and we are very proud of our children. They love learning, care for each other and are very respectful of adults. They are our best ambassadors!
Our vision is:
To be a dynamic community of care, built on Christian values, in which everyone is encouraged, challenged and inspired.
At Seaton St Paul's Church of England Junior School every child is an important part of our school family.
Seaton's children are our future and as such must be nurtured, cared for and educated to the highest standards. This is what we aim to achieve.
We have very high standards of behaviour to ensure that your child is given the best possible opportunity to learn in a happy, safe and calm environment.
('Outstanding' behaviour -Ofsted Inspection 2019)
Recently we were very proud to have been awarded a Golden Apple for the title of Cumbria's Best Primary School.
The judges were looking for:
‘An exceptional primary school which stands out from the rest and can demonstrate
High standards and strong performance
Creativity and innovation which can help children aspire and achieve’
The judges were impressed with our initiatives and the inclusive nature of our school - welcoming the village community in all its forms! Seaton St Paul's CE Primary School is a school at the heart of the community with the community in its heart.
Your child's happiness is at the heart of everything we do. A happy child will learn well and reach his or her true potential.
Seaton St Paul's Church of England Junior School is not just about academic success it is about life experiences, enjoyment, friendship and personal challenges. It is about learning about yourself and achieving more than you thought possible. It is about relationships and commitment.
We aim to provide the children with memorable experiences for the future. Exam success is important but so is being able to excel and shine across all areas of the curriculum.
Our core Christian values are:
Respect, Courage, Perseverance, Trust, Friendship and Forgiveness
Your child will be offered a wealth of opportunities and experiences during their time with us. We hope to prepare them well for their future education and give them an insight into the world around them.
A strong partnership between school and home is of the utmost importance to us. It is only by working together that we can move forward successfully. We will always welcome parents into school and there are many occasions and events throughout the year when the success and achievements of the children are on display for all to see. Don't miss out on these occasions, they should be treasured.
You can be assured of a very warm welcome whenever you visit us
We will always strive to solve any problems as quickly as possible and remember, the earlier you alert us to your concerns, the sooner a solution will be found. Please help us to help you and your child.
I hope you enjoy reading our school prospectus.
If, however, you do wish to discuss matters further, please do not hesitate to contact school to make an appointment.
We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with you, working together for your child.
