Post 1 Temporary
We would like to recruit a teacher 0.5 to cover a maternity leave form September 2018.
Post 2 Temporary Full Time Teacher from September 2018 (but may well become long term as this role is available due to school expansion).
Seaton St Paul's CE Junior School is an oversubscribed and very popular school. The village is growing bigger due to numerous housing developments. Hundreds of new houses are to built.
The school building is being extended and there are plans to build 2 new classrooms. We are currently working with Cumbria County Council and architects (and are very excited about this!)
In September 2018 the Year 3 cohort will become 3 form rather than 2 form entry.
Teachers within the same year groups have their PPA time together and this sharing of planning and mutual support proves to be very beneficial. The school has specialist teachers for Music, PE and Design Technology enabling teachers to concentrate on fewer subjects. French is also taught by a separate teacher.
