We investigated mechanisms that help people in industry to move things. We experimented with levers, pulleys, gears and pneumatic systems. Explaining using scientific knowledge how the mechanism works and then constructing our own examples. We then took all that knowledge and practice and used it to create out own moving monster, which had to have a pneumatic system.
